  3. hi Mel, i am in the beginning stages of seeing a bariatric surgeon & starting the approval process, it seems as though it’ll be ages before I’m anywhere near to getting my lap-band surgery, i know, I know….patience, lol. I was just wondering how tall you are?

  5. I would be mad about the leaking of the cut too. I had that before with my 2nd c-section, and the wearing of the pads over the cuts under the undergarments, and it makes you totally vex! For you to feel no pain, that speaks very positive volumes for the people who did the work, or you just have a high pain threshhold!

  13. My mom has had the same surgery, and so have her friends and the girdle is very very important to getting keeping your hour glass shape and for the tummy to keep its shape. You look great though :) good luck

  14. I had abdominal surgery last summer and it took nearly 3 1/2 months for the swelling to go down that it was the most notiable., which was very frustrating, then one day I woke up and my underwear didn’t fit (too big!) Sorry tmi. The swelling is going down little by little so patience is a virtue. I have read that with some tummy tucks the full results may take up to 6 mos. to see the total effect. TIme is wiping by, you’ll probably have more of the results by Easter. :)

  15. how much does each of those procedures cost in colombia? …also I thik your probably having discomfort now because you are healing and when you move your sorta tearing into the tissue….like if you had a sore on your knuckle that healed and had a scab on it and then you flexed your finger…it would hurt…

  20. Girl, you are somethin else!! I know that’s right, if the scars don’t go away, I’ll have them lasered!! LOL.. So, in your personal opinion, what was the deciding factor that made silicone gels better than saline implants? Girl, a sista’ is tryin to know!!! hahaha:-)

  21. Thank u!

  22. The anchor scar is very dark right now. I know exactly who you are cause I view your videos. Its very hard to tell if the scarring will disappear w/ our skin tone color. However, these silicone gels I ordered are suppose to be the best. Lets see if they go away. If not, I will have laser to get them removed.

  23. Mel, Gurrrlll…The boobs are lookin’ fab!! Thanks for sharing the details, ALL of them w/ us. I will want the breast augmentation and tummy tuck once I lose all this weight and your story gives me a realistic look into this procedure. Do you think the anchor scar on your breasts will ever go away, or will there always be a scar there? Are they dark? Chk out my vids and you’ll see my skin color. I think there may be hyperpigmentation that happens w/ women of color. on to prt2..
